In a survey of British motorists, 78% of drivers admitted to breaking the law whilst driving – and 27% revealed they do so on a daily basis. The most common offence is speeding, but nearly half of those questioned confessed to using their mobile to phone or text from behind the wheel, and a remarkable 41% said they had driven without wearing a seatbelt. The survey, undertaken by that most likely of motoring sources, VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, asked 1,651 UK motorists over the age of 18 about their driving habits.
Just a couple of days on from the reveal of the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, Mercedes delivers a video of their new Black Series. And the SLS Black probably gets closer to what the McLaren SLR offered than the regular SLS does, although it’s still down on the power of the SLR, and its performance to 62mph is no better and its top speed is 10mph slower. Still, even if it will cost around £200k, it’s still a big chunk cheaper than the SLR was.

The Porsche Cayman GTS and its soft-top doppelgänger, the Boxster GTS, take the fight to their 911 big brother like no Porsche sports car before. Thanks to a respective 15bhp power hike from their 3.4-litre straight-six engines, the GTS twins shave precious tenths of their 0-62mph time, with the Cayman arriving in 4.6sec (when specced with the PDK paddeshifter gearbox), and the Boxster in 4.7sec. The respective top speeds are 177mph and 174mph.
